Growing the same crop repeatedly on the same land eventually depletes the soil of different nutrients. Farmers avoided a decrease in soil fertility by practicing crop rotation. Different plant crops were planted in a regular sequence so that the leaching of the soil by a crop of one kind of nutrient was followed by a plant crop that returned that nutrient to the soil.(http://inventors.about.com/library/inventors/blfarm.htm)British agriculturalist Charles Townshend aided the European agricultural revolution by popularizing a four- year crop rotation with rotations of wheat, barley, turnips, and clover.
Selective Breeding
to mutton"(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Agricultural_Revolution)
Land Reclamation mutton"(
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Agricultural_Revoluti
Effects on History
The British Agricultural Revolution was the

Everyone came to the cities in search of work in mills and factories. The working conditions were not good people had to work long hours up to 16 hours a day. The machines that they operated were unsafe and many pople got hurt and some even died. When these people got hurt there was no worker's comp so the workers had to pay there own bill, not the company. There was also child labor and women worked to because it didn't cost as much to employ them. Many people joined unions and started strikesfor better working conditions and better pay. pay. Some people also started to smash and break machines so they didn't have to<i
